Camp, In-Service, and a close call...
I'd like to publicly thank one of my coworkers for intervening in an otherwise frightening situation.
Had his efforts not prevailed, I would be teaching the grade 9 girls Bible class (which is about Women's Issues - we're not just talking their role in the church)
Yikes. Instead, I will be teaching the grade 8 girls.
Camp went well. Musically, the group came together very quickly toward the end. Marching isn't as solid as I would have liked it to be, but they'll get there. We are in the middle of in-service this week, and classes begin in earnest next Monday.
Also, my car is (somewhat) clean(er) now.

It was good to visit with you. I'm sure you'll do fine next week with all the little kiddies in your "grown-up" job.

UPDATE! :-)
Seriously though, my parents brought me boxes of "memories" from HS and college when they came to see Joshua, and in one of the boxes was notebooks where I had printed off all my old emails to clean out my old hotmail account. Why I thought this was great, I have no idea. Anyways, it reminded me that you and I used to talk a lot on email and AIM/ICQ a lot because I had a whole section of my notebook of emails between you and I. :-)
When are you coming for your next Dallas visit?
